Using a clay bar can be one of the quickest and easiest ways to dramatically improve the visual appearance of your car.
The surface of your car is constantly exposed to airborne contaminants, such as brake dust, industrial fallout, road tar and bug splatters, which build up and create a textured surface that feels rough to the touch and affects the gloss shine.

To achieve the best shine its all about the preparation. Using a clay bar at least once a year removes contamination that the washing process can not and restores a smooth surface that reflects light better and creates a high gloss shine.

Deciding on which clay bar to use depends on the type and level of contamination, but usually either a fine or medium clay bar is sufficient. Used with our high lubricity lubricant, which creates a barrier between your car's surface and the detailing clay, providing the necessary slick surface for your clay to glide.

We have 3 different grades of clay bar - pink fine, yellow medium and mauve heavy.

Pink Fine - designed for regular maintenance. Gentle on paintwork but able to remove light contamination.
Yellow Medium - removes stubborn debris and contaminants.
Mauve Heavy - designed for heavy decontamination, such as paint overspray.

Claying will not only safely remove contaminants, but it also enables wax and sealant coatings to bond better to your paintwork and it makes waxing easier and more effective.
